The James Jones Family Association includes descendants of James Jones. James was born in Basingstoke, England in 1804 and came to America in 1832. James met Elizabeth Ann Funnell on the voyage and they married that same year in Rochester, NY. James and Elizabeth soon relocated to Michigan to become pioneer farmers in Macomb County, Michigan.
